York University reflects the same energy and vibrancy as of Toronto, which is the most sophisticated city in Canada. We have got it all from theatres and art galleries, clubs and student programs, to restaurants and pubs, sport and student government. We provide you with an extensive range of extracurricular activities that will help you meet people, have fun and develop skill in life and have the right attitude that will propel your own unique path to success.

Campus Events
Campus events are like a portal to just about everything that's happening on the Keele and Glendon campuses!

Student Government
If your are Interested in politics, you can get involved with the York Federation of Students or your college council.

Religious Organizations
We have many active religious groups on campus like the Scott Religious Centre some groups are served by chaplains, and most have office space allocated to them.

Clubs and Organizations
Ethnic clubs, religious groups, clubs for specific academic programs and political groups are few of the 240+ students clubs that we have an offer for you to join.

Student Centre
Student Centre a three-storey building is one of the busiest place on campus, which is the home to numerous clubs and organizations as well as a many of fast-food vendors, art gallery, the Underground restaurant and nightclub and many alcoves to study and hang around with friends. It's main objective is to serve the cultural, social, educational, organizational and recreational interests of the York community on a non-profit basis.

Student Newspapers
You can always volunteer for any of our 13 student newspapers if you have interest in journalism, writing, photography, design or editing.

York Lanes - our own campus mall
York Lanes spots a comprehensive set of shops and services including clothing, accessory and gift stores, a post office, restaurants, coffee shops, banks, a convenience store, a pharmacy, hair salon, optician, medical/dental clinic, bookstore, computer shop etc.

Art Gallery of York
The Art Gallery of York University (AGYU) has emerged itself as a blossoming resource to the University community. Its academic mission promotes the skill development of York University students by lending them intern positions and being a venue for MFA thesis exhibitions.

Volunteer Centre
Volunteer Centre of York University (VCYU) is a student-run service, which bolsters volunteerism at York University. It acts as a liaison between students who want to donate their time and skills and non-profit organizations seeking volunteers.
